In school, recess was freedom. You sat in class all day and for one glorious period you could bust out of the classroom with your buddies, spread your arms and fly. So why has adult recess turned into a chore of a boring workout all by your lonesome?
Not anymore! Transform the way you think about your workout. Any way you want to move, anyhow, anytime, anywhere — that’s your workout. Make your fitness time YOUR time. Do something you love. Do something that inspires you. Do it with people you love. Throw ANYTHING ELSE that doesn’t add up right out the window. Right now. You do enough things for enough people other than yourself that you don’t totally love all day long. Make your fitness work for no one else other than YOURSELF. This is YOUR time. Your energy. And YOUR results. You deserve to do something that you enjoy.
Make it fun. Make it inspiring. Make it sweaty.

It’s July 4th, Independence Day. Today is about freedom and having the ability to do what we want. Sometimes we may not feel that way. We might feel frustrated in situations and feel trapped. We might feel pressured into things. We might feel stuck in a rut. But when it comes to FITNESS, we truly do have freedom. And it’s a freedom we don’t always embrace. If you’re stuck in a fitness rut, feel the freedom to ditch what isn’t working for you and try something else. Feel the freedom to try something and fail or stumble along the way. Feel free to find a different side of yourself. Even feel the freedom to BEGIN. Feel a freedom to be anything you want to be and do anything you want to do. If you don’t get freedom everywhere in your life, you have it in FITNESS. Maybe it sounds hokey, but it’s a space that’s all yours to do with what you please. And that is truly freedom at its finest.
