SWEATstyle of the day: the morning swim.
The alarm is going off and you’re contemplating how your legs feel now (tired) and how they’ll feel on your morning run (even more tired). You think about your arms and how they’ll feel lifting weights (mushy). You try to engage your core and fail. How are you supposed to get your workout on in the AM hours when your body feels like smush?! The answer: THE MORNING SWIM.
At 7am on Monday morning after a getaway weekend in Maine for a friend’s wedding, I wasn’t going ANYWHERE fast. But after such a weekend I needed a workout more than ever. Where could I go where my body wouldn’t have to fight back against its own fatigue? The pool!
Instead of slipping back into the coziness of my comforter, I slipped into the serenity and slow wake up call that is swimming morning laps in the pool. It was awesome. I highly recommend. Get swimming people. It’s the workout that hugs you back.  High-res
